Only a few stones remained..

In Provence, between the Alpilles mountains and olive groves, this beautiful stone farmhouse had been abandoned for a long time. The talent of some and the patience of others have given it a roof, windows, an arbour... and a soul.

At first, there was nothing but crumbling stone, lintels scattered among the wild grasses, pieces of collapsed framework buried in the garrigue. But what a landscape!

To the north, the imposing spur of the Alpilles, silhouetted against the blue sky, and to the south, as far as the eye could see, fields of vines and olive trees.

The beauty of the landscape, the fragrance, the nostalgia of this ruin dating back to 1630,

The origins of the mas date back to the 17th century, when there was a right of passage through the Alpilles and the mas was used as a toll house.

Caroline fell in love with the place on her first visit, and quickly made it her own, creating a cocoon for her children and grandchildren. Today, it's a farmhouse where generations come together, and this tradition will continue over time, to the delight of all
